Baylor Scott & White Health Undergraduate Medical Education Program Administrator in Dallas, Texas

The UME Program Administrator I in collaboration with the Program Director, UME Office and Medical School affiliate, provides oversight to the undergraduate medical education training program, including all administrative, operational and financial support for the program.

The UME Program Administrator I collaborates with course leadership to administer courses in respective clinical areas; coordinates all educational activities including orientation, student schedules, documentation, case logs, evaluations, simulation, course materials, examinations and any other activities required; and maintains and coordinates data required to comply with institutional, program and accreditation requirements.

The Program Administrator I works closely with medical school affiliates; liaisons between affiliate partners, clinics and community with clear, respectful and timely communication; contributes to the oversight of the program operational budget as appropriate; and coordinates rotations for visiting medical students. Serves as interface to all aspects of Physician Directors role; troubleshoots problem situations, determines appropriate action required and initiates problem resolution; provides support to program by interpreting policies, operational procedures, and guidelines; represents program & UME within institution.

The ideal UME Program Administrator I candidate has the ability to communicate courteously and professionally in all forms of communication, able to multi-task while being organized and work autonomously, independently and take initiative.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access. Etc) and be willing to learn and become proficient in using other software programs.
