Description of Job Duties
Responsibilities include teaching day, evening, and online classes at the 1604 and UTSA Downtown Campuses in academic programs leading to bachelor’s degrees in interdisciplinary studies, master’s degrees in education, doctoral degrees in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, and in professional licensure programs for teachers.
Primary responsibility for the supervision of students in field-based practica.
Conducting and publishing scholarly research.
Advising students and supervisor master’s thesis.
Advising doctoral students and supervising dissertations, developing grant applications and proposals for the external support of research and teacher preparation in special education.
Providing service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
